The itinerary below is from the TLH Leisure Resort Programme for 2009, so may be subject to change.

Thursday: Day 1 
We make a late morning departure and travel to the Derwent Hotel, Torquay, our base for four nights.
We aim to arrive mid afternoon, and enjoy a game of bingo before a candlelit dinner is served. More bingo
to follow, before settling down to a variety of evening entertainment.

Friday: Day 2 'Christmas Eve'
Following breakfast, we enjoy some time at leisure in our host resort of Torquay. Alternatively, stay at the hotel and
join in the various activities that will be going on. In the afternoon there will be a tea dance in the starlight lounge then it’s
quiz time. Join other guests and hotel staff for a complimentary glass of wine and canapes whilst singing Christmas Carols,
after which a candlelit dinner will be served.

Saturday: Day 3 'Christmas Day'
A Bucks Fizz reception before breakfast, after which there is a chance to meet Santa and enjoy a glass of mulled wine.
Christmas lunch is served at 1pm with all the trimmings, before we settle down to family prize bingo and quiz time.
We take a break for afternoon tea and a slice of Christmas Cake. In the evening, we have a candlelit dinner before relaxing
and enjoying the cabaret.

Sunday: Day 4 'Boxing Day'
After Breakfast we jump aboard the coach and have a short excursion within the South Devon area. We return to the hotel in
time for an afternoon at the races accompanied by some hot punch. Afternoon tea and mince pies are served before we
enjoy a Gala buffet in the restaurant. We round off Boxing Day with a game of bingo, live music and a cabaret.

Monday: Day 5
We enjoy a leisurely breakfast before starting our journey home.

Our hotel:
We return to the popular 2* Derwent Hotel, which is part of the THL Leisure Resort, and is situated just 450 yards from the
sea front. The hotel has a bright and lively atmosphere with something always going on! All of the 175 bedrooms are en-suite
and have a tv, radio, tea and coffee making facilities and a telephone.
There is a lift to all floors.
