Blackpool Illuminations

Day 1: We travel via the motorways to Tiffany's Hotel in Blackpool, our base for four nights.

Day 2: A morning visit to Fleetwood Market, one of the oldest traditional markets in Lancashire. There are over 250 stalls, and 80% is under cover. We return to Blackpool for an afternoon at leisure.

Day 3: A chance to sit back and admire the scenery, with a full day tour of the Lake District.

Day 4: We make a visit to Oswaldtwistle Mills Shopping Village near Accrington. Housed in five former weaving sheds, the complex covers 88,000 square feet, with over 80 retail concessions selling everything from arts and crafts, gadgets, furniture and locally produced foods. Unlike most shopping malls or outlets, you are able to explore a real sweet factory, travel through history in the Textile Time Tunnel, or follow a nature trail to discover a Wildfowl Reserve. We return mid afternoon for further time in Blackpool.

Day 5: Time for a further look at Blackpool before we make our late morning departure for Somerset.

Illuminations tour: A tour of Blackpool's illuminations will be provided on either Monday or Tuesday evening. The driver will inform you of this.

Your Hotels: Tiffany's Hotel is one of Blackpool's leading hotels, situated on the fashionable North Promenade approximately half a mile from the tower and very close to all of the main attractions and conference centres. All rooms have en-suite with either bath or shower, they are also equipped with tea and coffee making facility, television and telephone. There is a lift available to most floors.
