Sunday - Day 1

We will will pick you up from your home address via Feeder Coach and transport you to the main tour coach where you will meet up with your fellow passengers.  From here we then travel east to the Eurotunnel terminal in Folkestone where we then take the short Channel Tunnel crossing to Calais.  Southbound we continue through France, making suitable comfort and refreshment stops throughout our journey as we head to the Mercure Hotel Centre Metz for an overnight stay.

Monday - Day 2

Our journey continues across the border and into Switzerland and to the town of Davos  We stay for 5 nights at the Central Sporthotel, a traditionally furnished yet modernly equipped 4-star hotel that is located directly below the famous Davos-Platz Promenade shopping street, close to the Schatzalp cable car and within walking distance to the Davos congress centre and the Vaillant Arena.  The hotel offers nicely furnished rooms with a balcony, an indoor swimming pool and counter-current pool, 2 saunas, a steam bath, a solarium and massage services.

Tuesday - Day 3

Today we have a full day at leisure for you to explore our host resort of Davos.  We will give you a ‘Davos Card’ which allows you free and unlimited use of all local transport.  We suggest that you take a trip on the Schwarzalp Mountain Railway and then have lunch in the panoramic restaurant followed by a visit to the Alpine Garden (price not included).  Davos is the highest city in Europe and it gained its international attention in the early 20th century as a health and wellness town. Visitors will find excellent shopping with numerous boutiques, cafés and restaurants.

Wednesday - Day 4

After breakfast we travel to Klosters, nestling in what has remained the rural part of the Prättigau boasting a romantic-like atmosphere.  Klosters offers a unique combination of a renowned mountain resort and the idyll of an unspoilt Graubünden village.   The British heir to the throne Prince Charles is a regular guest.  Afterwards we travel to Chur, a charming, historic town with cobbled streets, secret courtyards and a large cathedral.  We have time here to explore the area before returning to Davos via Filisur and the verdant Albula Pass.

Thursday - Day 5

After breakfast we travel to Davos Platz where we board the Bernina Express.  The Bernina Express train route takes us through incredible alpine landscapes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site to Tirano in Italy.  See lakes, gorges and glaciers as well as a series of loops and tunnels that make this one of Europe's greatest train journeys.   Sit back, relax and enjoy the twists, turns and views from the panoramic windows.   Upon arrival in Tirano you can enjoy some time at leisure before joining the coach and travelling back to Davos by road, with a fresh perspective on the awesome scenery.

Friday - Day 6

We travel to the luxury alpine resort town of St. Moritz located in Switzerland’s Engadin valley.  For more than a century St. Moritz, with its spectacular scenery has been the playground of the rich and famous.  St. Moritz has continued to stay a world class resort that attracts winter sport fans from all around the world and has played host to the Winter Olympics on two occassions.  It also offers one of the sunniest climates in all Switzerland with an estimated 300 days of sunshine per year.  We then return to our host resort of Davos for some further time at leisure.

Saturday - Day 7

It is time to say goodbye to Switzerland and we commence our journey back to England.  Making suitable comfort and refreshment stops en-route we head into France and to The Campanile Reims Centre Cathedral Hotel.  The hotel is located in the centre of the city of Reims, and we aim to arrive late afternoon to check in for an overnight stay.

About Our Tours

We have been operating tours and mini breaks around the U.K. and abroad for a number of years, and by far the most popular innovation that we have introduced in recent years, is to offer a virtually door to door service. Picking up as near as practically possible to your home in Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire means you don’t have to worry about getting your luggage to the coach, and avoids the additional cost of having to use taxis.

By using our small fleet of mini-buses, we are able to keep the pick-up time to a minimum and get you on your tour coach and on your way as soon as possible. This way your holiday starts on the first morning. Once your holiday is over we will collect you again from the coach park and return you home.
