Surplus Seats
The government provide free school transport to students who are entitled to this. This is provided until the age of 16.
After the age of 16 there is no free travel provided, so students attending 6th form at school (Year 12 & 13) must pay for transport if they want to travel on a school bus.
After all the entitled students have been allocated to their school bus there may be seats remaining on the bus (Surplus Seats).
South West Coaches can provide these surplus seats to a student on payment of an annual fee.
PLEASE NOTE: There are not always surplus seats available on all routes and when there are surplus seats these are very limited. Early application is advised as seats are allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis. If you think you may need a surplus seat, it is advisable to apply for one as there is no commitment and the seats can be cancelled at a later date.
Please click on the link below to download the form for a surplus seat and the Terms and Conditions of the application. Please read the Terms & Conditions carefully as you will be deemed to have accepting them when you submit your application.
