What is the Surplus Seats Scheme?
The Dorset Surplus Seat Scheme allows students who are not entitled to free home-to-school transport to apply for available spare seats on existing school transport routes.
Seats are allocated subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed from one academic year to the next. Priority is always given to students who qualify for free transport.
