Mon 6th May - Day 2

We begin our day at Wakehurst Place in Sussex. The house is one of the finest examples of Arts and Crafts workmanship, with Morris & Co. interiors whilst the hillside garden offers year-round highlights.
In the afternoon we embark on a train journey from East Grinsted to Sheffield Park on the Bluebell Railway, the UK’s first preserved standard gauge passenger railway. Whilst steaming through the pretty Sussex countryside, we tuck into a tasty cream tea and admire the views.

home to a herd of around 350 deer which famously roam the grounds.
