Pretty Peaks
Our wonderful ‘Peaks’ Tour is based in Buxton.
Our wonderful 'Peaks' tour is based in Buxton. You will get to experience the beautiful views from both on the ground and in the air. We have included a balance of activities and relaxing, with variations for sight seeing to shopping. This trip is one not to miss.
Day 1
Today we will depart the West Country an make our way north. We will make a selection of comfort breaks on the way up, including Trentham Shopping Village for lunch. We will then arrive at the hotel ready for a freshen up before dinner.
Day 2
Today we will visit the Heights of Abraham. Your ticket for thiswill inlude access to: Cable Car Journey, Two Famous Show Caverns, Masson Pavillion, High Falls Film Theatre and the
Long View Exhibition.There is a restauant and cafe available on site.
Day 3
Today we will travel to Crich Tramway Village, Trams depart regularly from town end and will returnto Stephenson’s Place with stops at Wakebridge for the mining display, Cabmen’s Shelter, Octagon, worm toilet and Woodland Walk and Glory Mine
Day 4
After breakfast you will begin your tour through the beautiful peaks. You will end in Sheffield where you will be able to have some lunch, or have a afternoon tea. On your return to the hotel you will travel a different route
allowing you to see more of the beautiful countryside in the area.
Day 5
Today you will head back to the West Country, you will take a different route home, stopping in the delightful market town of Melton Mowbray. From there you will continue South stopping for comfort breaks on your return.
