Showtime in Llandudno

Chase away the winter blues on our fantastic showtime break to the unspoiled Victorian seaside town of Llandudno with it’s quaint pier and promenade. We combine some of the best attractions and scenery North Wales has to offer alongside some the best entertainers inspired by songs from West End Shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables and Mamma Mia. There will be something for everyone so sit back, relax, have fun and enjoy the atmosphere, the food and the first class entertainment on offer on this unforgettable break to the Kilda Hotel.

Monday - Day 1

We commence the journey north making suitable comfort stops along the way to Llandudno and the Kilda Hotel. As a family-run hotel, you can expect a uniquely warm welcome - no guest walks through the doors for the first time without enjoying a complimentary cup of tea and one of St Kilda's famous homemade scones! After you have had the chance to freshen up, enjoy a complimentary pre dinner aperitif of sherry or fruit juice at the bar before sitting down to a four course dinner. After dinner you will be entertained by the first of the week's performers.

Tuesday - Day 2

Today we make the short journey to the fairytale Italianate village of Portmeirion built in exceptionally beautiful scenery and used for the television series “the Prisoner.” We then head to Porthmadog for some time at leisure - an idyllic harbour town situated on the Glaslyn Estuary, rich in maritime history and has plenty of craft shops, restuarants alongside cultural and histroric places to visit. We head back to the hotel in time to enjoy a glass of wine and canapés in the bar before dinner and then another evening of fabulous entertainment.

Wednesday - Day 3

We make our way to the old walled medieval port town of Conwy. Down towards the quayside you will find Aberconwy House - a National Trust 14th-century merchant's house believed to be the oldest town house in Wales and has been carefully restored to reflect the daily life of its residents over time. We head back to Llandudno for some leisure time before mid-afternoon you are welcomed back at the hotel for a Showtime Quiz during which tea and biscuits will be served. Once again after our evening meal there will be another evening of entertainment on offer.

Thursday - Day 4

We cross the Menai Bridge and onto the Isle of Anglesey. We begin with a visit to the historic town of Beaumaris with its medieval castle and Victorian Pier. We visit the city with the longest name in the world - Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychrndrobwllandysiliogogogoch, and pay a visit to the James Pringle Retail outlet/Pringles Woollens, for Welsh arts and crafts. Back at the hotel tonight is ”Showtime Gala Night” after a complimentary cocktail enjoy a five course gourmet dinner before a showstopper of an evening of entertainment by a top performer.

Friday - Day 5

After a full Welsh breakfast we load the coach up and commence our journey back to the South West. There is still time though for one more stop and that is in the beautiful mountain village of Betws-y-Coed. Eat locally sourced and award-winning food and drink in the diverse range of cafés, bistros and restaurants, or browse independent shops retailing in crafts, clothing, gifts, and local homemade produce. We re-join our coach and continue our home bound journey, meeting the feeder coaches early evening for your transfer directly back home.

About Our Tours

We have been operating tours and mini breaks around the U.K. and abroad for a number of years, and by far the most popular innovation that we have introduced in recent years, is to offer a virtually door to door service. Picking up as near as practically possible to your home in Dorset, Somerset and Wiltshire means you don’t have to worry about getting your luggage to the coach, and avoids the additional cost of having to use taxis.

By using our small fleet of mini-buses, we are able to keep the pick-up time to a minimum and get you on your tour coach and on your way as soon as possible. This way your holiday starts on the first morning. Once your holiday is over we will collect you again from the coach park and return you home.
